Our client is a highly reputable commercial and residential Restoration and Environmental Services Company experiencing strong growth. The company is currently seeking an Asbestos Abatement Project Manager who desires a career with an Industry leader.

Provide management oversight for all phases of the Asbestos abatement project, including coordinating workers, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project
Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors on various phases of the project.
Oversees performance of all environmental workers on the job site and ensures Industrial hygienist specifications and regulations are being followed.
Responsible for proper administration of remediation contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
Supervises assistant managers.
Tracks and controls abatement schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
Reports to owners and hygienist on progress and necessary modifications of plans.
Asbestos Abatement Certifications Required
Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.
Estimating experience required
Proven abatement experience in Commercial environments
Ability to travel
Positive attitude and team oriented
Education, training and experience:
High School or GED and five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
