Meet Our Leadership Team
Rebecca Peruch
Founder/President
Rebecca is the founder and president of Artemis Talent Group. She began her professional career with State Farm Insurance Company in the Property Claims Division. As a member of the national catastrophe team, she responded to large loss events, including the North Ridge Earthquake in 1994.
Rebecca then joined Allstate Insurance Company and served eight years as a corporate employee, holding market sales associate and SW region sales instructor roles. Rebecca’s team developed and delivered strategic initiatives focused on growing agency revenue, hiring, retention and product knowledge in a five-state region.
A turning point in Rebecca’s career occurred when she had the pleasure of leading the sales divisions of two different firms within the disaster restoration industry. Through strategic planning and hiring key sales performers, her teams attained recognition, including a ranking of #2 in revenue and #1 in volume against 140 sales teams in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Along with managing a sales team, Rebecca was personally responsible for achieving revenue goals in a sales territory that included client verticals in insurance, healthcare, and public entities.
Rebecca’s passion for finding the right talent and growing successful businesses led to the development of Artemis Talent Group, an executive search firm specializing in the restoration industry and related verticals. Artemis Talent Group has become THE MOST respected recruiting firm in the industry and is known for placing exceptional leadership and sales talent.
Rachel Meier
VP/Executive Recruiter
Rachel is vice president & executive recruiter for Artemis Talent Group. After graduating from the University at Buffalo with a joint major in communication & English, Rachel’s first position was as a recruiter for TAP Personnel Group, a team whose focus was on accounting & finance and executive office professional placement. After a year with the company, Rachel moved to Scottsdale to join her husband who had received a job offer. After spending 4+ years in pharmaceutical sales, Rachel opened her own cycling studio called RPM Spin, which she owned for 6+ years.
Rachel joined Artemis Talent Group in her pursuit of helping others find the perfect job in restoration. Rachel loves meeting new people and helping them aspire in their careers while getting to know them personally and professionally. She then combines the needs of the client and the opportunity available to make that perfect match. Working with top salespeople and professionals up through the executive level, Rachel feels it’s most important to understand a candidate’s motivations for making a career change and uncover what is absolutely imperative for them in their next venture. To help people and then place them in an environment like restoration where that person is now helping others is truly an enjoyable experience for her.
Rachel is married with a son, Calvin, and likes to spend free time with her family, visiting with friends and family, working out, or sipping fine wine.
Marty Alexander
Executive Recruiter
Marty is an executive recruiter with Artemis Talent Group. He has over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing and held account management and leadership roles. As an area sales manager, Marty led a team of nine account sales managers and was assigned to the company’s largest territory. As an accomplished leader, Marty wore several hats, including hiring. He credits his ability to “strategically” recruit as the key element in building a successful team. In 2018, Marty started a rental property company that operates debt-free and enjoys above-average returns. Shortly after graduating from college, Marty was employed as a multi-line claims adjuster and worked closely with the restoration industry. He currently resides in Southwest Louisiana, an area hit with multiple hurricanes and floods, and he appreciates the value of the restoration industry and its impact on helping heal a community.
Marty embraces the challenge of matching talented candidates to exceptional opportunities. He appreciates the relationships he developed with former recruits and enjoys staying connected and above all, watching their careers flourish.
Jana Smith
Executive Recruiter
Jana is an executive recruiter for Artemis Talent Group who joined the firm in 2020. She enjoys connecting candidates with opportunities and has a passion for helping people. Jana spent 20 years in the insurance claims and restoration sales industry and has created lifelong connections. She specializes in placing leadership and sales positions for companies such as property claims services, independent adjusting firms, property damage consulting firms, forensic engineering firms and temporary housing companies. The insurance claims industry provides great stability and growth opportunities within these services.
Jana enjoys getting to know top sales professionals and executives while matching them to our clients’ talent needs. It is very fulfilling to place talented people in this industry. There is no greater joy professionally than helping a candidate find a key role and watch them succeed.
As an approved instructor for the Department of Real Estate in Arizona, Jana educates local commercial realtors about the industry, training on mold, lead, and asbestos abatement and remediation. Jana is married and enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband.
